LASHI HOWARD

I was born in Damoh, India in the family of Ajai & Indu Lall. I have the background where my mother’s parents Dr. Douglas & Mrs. Usha Henry have served as medical missionaries in India with The Leprosy Mission (International) for almost 40 years. My father’s parents Dr. Vijai & Mrs. Pushpa Lall have served as missionaries with Mid India Christian Mission. My parents founded the Central India Christian Mission in December of 1982. Being born and raised in India, I have a compassionate heart for my family, mission and India. I accepted the Lord as my savior and was baptized at the age of 13. After my High school graduation, I made a decision to serve the children in India. I have seen the children at risk in the villages and tribal areas of India and felt a calling towards raising such children in the knowledge and love of Lord Jesus Christ. I attended Johnson Bible College and got my Associates degree in Bible in the year 2005. After coming back from America I have been working with the Children’s Ministry of Central India Christian Mission. At present I am directing the work of the Children’s Home. The Children’s Home provides shelter to the poor, orphan, needy and at risk children. Right now we have 98 children at the Children’s Home. I am married to Josh Howard who is directing Central India Biblical Academy under the wings of CICM. We have two sons – Josiah and Jeremiah. I am very thankful to God for choosing and allowing me to play a part for the extension of His kingdom.
